World record passes are often seen at Import vs Domestic’s: World Cup Finals (one the most diverse & competitive racing event of the year), annually held at Maryland International Raceway in Bud’s Creek, Maryland.Racer’s come from all over the world to compete in this highly renowned event and set records with the prime weather conditions in combination with Jason Miller’s world class track prep. This event is one of the most anticipated events of the year for many racers and spectators, but also for us as we encounter many incredible stories and witness countless achievements year after year.Of course this year was no exception, and even mores exceptionally impressive as we witnessed a car we narrowly missed during our time in Brazil, waltz right to the top of the World Record board for a 4-Cylinder engine.Caca, took a production style Opel C-20XE engine, and turned it into a 1600hp+ power plant that still has room to grow, which officially opens the door the the possibility of a 4-Cylinder entering the realm of 5-second passes. We were thrilled to be able to be a part of this moment with the team, their excitement and happiness with this achievement was unparalleled.Who could blame them!?
